Depth perception

• Human eye only uses its ability to change focus for depth perception of nearby objects.

• Far objects use visual cues:

  • Light absorbtion
    • Depth fogging (also hides ‘popping’).
  • Parallax
    • Doom ‘bobbing’.
  • Known heights
