7 making movies

To make a movie you must fist create some images in Explorer and save these using the WriteLat module (see animation map in Meson or Gauge). These images can them be viewed using movie or movieplayer:

movie filenames &

or

movieplayer filenames &

For example if the files are 


pion00	pion01	pion02	pion03	pion04	
pion05	pion06	pion07	pion08	pion09

Then

movie pion* &

will start movie. A window will appear on the screen and the images will be loaded in one by one. Once this has been done the movie will playback at a faster speed. The left mouse button can also be held down and dragged horizontally across the image to playback the image manually.

These movie can then be put onto video tape for further viewing (for further information contact EPCC-support).
