At present I am about to enter my final year, studying for a BSc in Physics with Computer Applications at Heriot-Watt University. Aside from Edinburgh, home is about 20 miles from Aberdeen (North East Scotland) in the middle of the countryside. During term time I seem to live in the Student Union! Not surprising really, considering the number of groups I seem to be part of! Unfortunately one thing that Heriot-Watt lacks is a music scene, and being an avid jazz fan that is a bit of a disadvantage. Still, being in Edinburgh for the Festival more than makes up for this! However my attempts at playing the saxophone and being in a jazz band tend to get ignored when I get the chance to do some Folk/Jazz singing.

What would I like to do when I've finished my degree? Well, if it was up to me I'd chuck it all and go and form a band... Realisticaly though, I'l like to do some research in Physics, eg in Quantum or nuclear Physics, or in computer modelling. So if anyone wants to offer me a job for next year...???
