SSP Biography: Steven Webster

Steven was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland in 1973. He is currently in his final year at the University of Edinburgh, studying for a joint honours degree in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering.

Steven's spare time is largely consumed studying martial arts. He has studied Ju-Jitsu for 14 years and currently holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt. Since joining the University, he has taken up Shukokai Karate: he now holds a 1st Kyu Brown Belt and has captained the University Team throughout 1993-94.

On graduation, Steven intends to follow a career in Software Engineering, hopefully allowing him to continue in both Computer Science and Electronics. He is still considering the possibility of Posgraduate research however.
