SSP Biography: Irene Moulitsas

Irene was born on January 8th 1975 in Heraklion, Crete in Greece. She spent her first years in Chania and then she moved with her family to Heraklion. In 1992 Irene graduated from the "KAPETANAKIO" High School with the Honours Degree.

In the same year she passed the entry examinations for the University of Athens. She moved to Athens where she stayed for one semester,attending courses at the Mathematics Department. Then she moved back to Crete and she is now in her final year at the Mathematics Department of the University of Crete.At the same time she attends courses at the Computer Science Department of University of Crete. Irene expects to graduate in June 1996 and she would like to pursue Graduate Studies in Computer Science.

Her fields of interest are Computational Mathematics and Computer Science.
