I'm originally from Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland, completed two years of Computing Science at the University of Aberdeen in 2001 and am transferring to the University of Abertay Dundee in the autumn of 2001 to do a degree in Computer Games Technology.

I would describe myself as a native C++ programmer. At present I am writing a very basic 3D game engine from scratch, to get a feel for all the problems and design issues they face. Longer term I would enjoy working in game engine programming, or in artificial life simulations. When not programming (which is rarely) I like to read, usually science fact or fiction.
