SSP Biography: Patricio Domingues

Patricio ('PRD' to his friends) was born on September 13th 1971 in Nanterre, a French city near Paris. He stayed in France until 1983, when he moved to Portugal, where he was forced to change his name ('Patrick' was his former name). After a normal high-school, he went, in 1990, to the seven century years old University of Coimbra to do Computer Engineering at the Department of Computer Engineering, where he graduated in July 1995.

His main interests include parallel programming, and computer networks.

He also likes sports, especially football, being a supporter of the Portuguese team FC Porto.
