Regina Schlegel was born at 9th of May 1969 in Tiengen (a small town in Germany, next to the Swiss border). She is currently studying Applied Mathmetics (additional subjects: Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science) at the University of Karlsruhe (Germany). Since April 1993 she has worked at the Institut of Hydromechanics (University of Karlsruhe). She has already completed her diploma thesis, which was concernd with fluid calculation using a multigrid finite-volume method.

After graduation at end of 1995/beginning of 1996 she hopes to get a job in industry.
